City of North Bay Business Retention and Expansion Program
The City of North Bay, with the support of the Ontario government, is launching a large scale Business Retention and Expansion program (BR&E), designed to better understand the needs of local firms and identifying ways of helping them remain competitive and grow.
The program, which involves confidential interviews/surveys and on-site visits to local businesses, is underway
Led by the City’s Economic Development Department, the program is designed to aid in the expansion of existing companies and to help gauge the health of the business community.
Coupled with other economic development initiatives, including a recently-approved three-year moratorium on residential development charges, the BR&E program is part of a larger overall growth strategy for the City..
The City of North Bay is inviting all North Bay businesses to participate in the BR&E Program.
Please contact Fran Hanover, BR&E Coordinator, at 705.474.0400, ext. 2424 to learn more or to schedule a visitation.
