Science North’s Mine Evolution Digital Mining Game
In our own backyard, Science North has developed a digital mining game called Mine Evolution in partnership with the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (CIM). This game is available for free through the Google Play and App stores and is downloadable for PC.
Mining Matters is a national charitable organization dedicated to educating young people to develop knowledge and awareness of Earth sciences, the mineral industry and their role in society. Each year, the CIM Northern Gateway Branch partners with Mining Matters and local schools to deliver hands on workshops in the classroom.
