National Compressed Air Ltd.

National Compressed Air Ltd. manufactures a range of Compressors or Booster Compressors. The compressors are designed for Underground Mines. Applications include Blast-Hole Production Drilling or Infrastructure Drilling such as drainage holes, ventilation. Our Oil-Flooded Screw Booster Compressor System includes unique features that provide safe and reliable compressed air with minimum down time, boosting mine air from 80 PSI to 350, or as high as 500 PSI.

NCA has developed a unique Helicopter Portable Reverse Circulation Drill Rig and Compressors and Booster Compressors for mineral exploration drilling. Our design allows contractors to reach difficult access areas and complete mineral sampling projects using Reverse Circulation or RAB (Rotary Air Blast) Technology. Typically, this was done with exceptionally large equipment which required road access but can now be Heli Portable. This equipment can also be used with Truck or Rubber Track vehicles.

As the only Canadian manufacturer of fiberglass rigid ventilation pipe (FRP), Norvent specializes in providing high-quality ventilation solutions for the mining, tunneling, and forestry industries. Their product line includes fiberglass ducting, flexible ducting, fans, fan silencers, dust collectors, and more, all designed to meet the unique challenges of underground environments.​

FIRST Team 1305

FIRST Team 1305, Near North Student Robotic Initiative, ICE Cubed is a community based robotic team; our home is Canadore College.  We work as a team of high school students and volunteer mentors to compete in FIRST Robotics Competitions. Our team was founded in 2000 with a vision to empower students through hands-on STEAM experiences. Since our inception, we have grown into a thriving team known for our creativity, perseverance, and community spirit.

Over the years, we have competed in numerous local, provincial, and international events, earning accolades for our engineering excellence, innovative designs, gracious professionalism, and community outreach.  Our history is marked by a continuous drive to improve, adapt, and inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators. We are excited to partner with CIM Northern Gateway Branch.
