City of North Bay Planning Department Completes new Development Handbook
The City of North Bay has created a new Development Handbook for 2012 as a guide to aid
developers and investors in understanding the City’s policies and procedures for all new
residential, commercial, industrial and institutional development projects.
The guide will assist in navigating through the development approval process by providing
insight and direction through all aspects of a development project - from contact lists and
permits required, to costs and development charge information. It is our hope that by
compiling this comprehensive package, it will enable anyone wishing to build in our City
easy access to answers. With the City of North Bay’s policy of being “Open for Business”
and with our continuing commitment to quality customer service, we welcome your comments
and suggestions regarding this handbook and look forward to the continued growth and
investment throughout our City.
