North Bay is definitely "Open for Business" and the increasing number of new commercial and industrial facilities opening each month certainly proves that. North Bay is a beautiful, safe and diverse community of 54,000 residents, serving a regional catchment area of 110,000 people.

Whether it is the grand opening of the North Bay Regional Health Centre, the construction of the new Waterfront Park or the development of the new Airport Industrial Business Park, North Bay has become a leading community of progressive growth and development.

In addition to the support services offered through the Economic Development Office, the City's Planning Department has an established DART group (Development Application Review Team). The group is a one-stop assembly of all required planning and building staff members to effectively identify development and construction requirements and processes. This system has been a proven winner for the City and continues to make doing business in North Bay that much easier.
